Welcome,  I am Laura Bellamy and I have a traditional Cottage Industry business in Burton Bradstock, just outside Bridport, West Dorset,

I am a professional Curtain Tailor and in my workroom I handcraft soft furnishings to your specific requirements by using traditional methods. 

 With over 25 years of experience and skills acquired by working for fastidious Interior Designers, I create bespoke and finely tailored soft furnishings for your domestic & business premises, 

I can advise on fabric suitability, colour options and design considerations as well as a full measuring service and delivery on completion. You have the option to use fabric you have purchased online or through a traditional Draper.

As part of the Re-economy movement I offer a specialist service to make up your new soft furnishings from pre-loved curtains, duvet covers and vintage fabrics or opt for a simple re-lining to make the fabric last a bit longer. Re-purposing is very popular with customers relocating to West Dorset with curtains they don't want to part with.
